A letter from Dr. Anna
Dear Patients,
Welcome.
My name is Dr. Anna Ceniceros, and I am truly honored to have the opportunity to care for you and your family’s dental needs.
As a proud native of the Texas Panhandle, serving this community means so much to me. I am a first-generation college graduate and the daughter of migrant farmworkers, and my passion for dentistry began at just seven years old during my very first dental visit. That experience inspired me to one day help others feel confident in their smiles and comfortable in the dental chair.
This opportunity is especially meaningful to me because Dr. Sheppard played an important role in my journey into dentistry. Before attending dental school, I worked as his dental assistant, where I learned not only the clinical side of dentistry, but also the importance of building trust and genuine relationships with patients. He became a mentor to me and wrote my letter of recommendation for dental school. To now continue caring for the patients and practice that helped shape my path into dentistry feels incredibly full circle and deeply meaningful to me.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, where I also completed a graduate certificate in Community Health in Dental Medicine. Throughout my training, I focused on caring for underserved communities and helping patients regain their oral health with compassion and understanding. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am proud to serve the diverse families of our community.
My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients of all ages feel heard, respected, and cared for. I believe dentistry should be approachable, personalized, and centered around helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile.
Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling with my fiancé, Xavier Chavez, as well as watching movies, dancing at Zumba, and spending time with my pug, Pumba.

Mi nombre es Dra. Anna Ceniceros y es un verdadero honor tener la oportunidad de cuidar la salud dental de usted y su familia.
Como orgullosa originaria del Panhandle de Texas, significa muchísimo para mí poder servir a esta comunidad. Soy la primera graduada universitaria de mi familia e hija de trabajadores agrícolas migrantes. Mi pasión por la odontología comenzó a los siete años durante mi primera visita dental. Esa experiencia me inspiró a ayudar a otras personas a sentirse seguras de su sonrisa y cómodas en el consultorio dental.
Esta oportunidad tiene un significado muy especial para mí porque el Dr. Sheppard fue una parte importante de mi camino hacia la odontología. Antes de asistir a la escuela dental, trabajé como su asistente dental, donde aprendí no solo la parte clínica de la odontología, sino también la importancia de crear confianza y relaciones genuinas con los pacientes. Se convirtió en un mentor para mí y escribió mi carta de recomendación para ingresar a la escuela dental. Ahora, poder continuar cuidando a los pacientes y la clínica que ayudaron a formar mi camino en la odontología se siente como un momento muy especial y profundamente significativo en mi vida.

Hablo inglés y español con fluidez y me siento orgullosa de poder servir a las diversas familias de nuestra comunidad.
Mi objetivo es crear un ambiente cálido, cómodo y acogedor donde pacientes de todas las edades se sientan escuchados, respetados y bien atendidos. Creo que la odontología debe ser accesible, personalizada y enfocada en ayudarle a lograr una sonrisa saludable y segura.
Fuera de la oficina, disfruto viajar con mi prometido, Xavier Chavez, así como ver películas, bailar Zumba y pasar tiempo con mi pug, Pumba.

Please bring a photo ID, current insurance information if applicable, a list of medications, and any recent dental X-rays you have available.
Why might I need new X-rays?
Current diagnostic images help us identify concerns that cannot be seen during a visual exam. We recommend images based on your history, symptoms, and clinical needs before planning treatment.
Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes. Call our office as soon as possible and our team will help determine the most appropriate next step.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Pivot Point Dentistry is an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans. We provide an itemized receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Benefits vary by plan.
